Here are some tips for when you are creating and sending your tea party invitations.
Firstly you should remember that the purpose of your tea party invitations is not only to inform your guests of your party but also to be used as a keepsake by your guests. For that reason you should make them as lovely as possible.
Secondly, remember to incorporate the theme into the invitations. Both explicitly and implicitly, that is, mention the theme in writing but also make sure that it is conveyed through its design.
Make sure that your tea party invitations includes the date of the party, the reason you are holding it, where it will be and how to get there, the theme of the party and what your guests are required to bring.
You may also wish to include on the invitations the food that the guests can expect to eat at the party as well as any entertainment that will be offered. You might also like to include some poetry in the invitations which will add a nice touch of formality.
If it is a formal tea party then the invitations should be handwritten. This makes them more elegant and worth keeping than when using a computer. If it is a small or informal gathering then typing the invitations out is fine.
If you can’t make them or don’t know how to make the invitations there are a few options available to you. Firstly you should check to see if any of your friends or family who have an artistic flair would like to make them for you. Alternatively you could go to your local printer and enquire whether they would be able to design and create your invitations for you. Having a look on the internet for companies who can help you is also a worthy option.
Good luck in writing your tea party invitations and I hope your party is a big success.
